LINEAR ACTUATORS, LOW COST SYNCHRONOUS OR STEPPING

Stepping (SLS and SBLS Series) or synchronous (SLand SBL Series) linear actuators are reversible, permanent magnet types. An integral part of the rotor assembly is a sintered bronze nut for extended life. The nut accepts a 1/4" diameter, .048 pitch Acme screw that provides linear motion for pushing, pulling, lifting and positioning applications.

Standard 8" lead screws have maximum travel of 6.75" and a maximum thrust of 15 pounds. Screws of other lengths may be specified. Ball bearings are standard. Synchronous motors provide travel of .24 or.48 inch per second. Stepping motors have a resolution .001 or .002 inch per step (1000 or 500 steps per inch). They may be driven with Hurst Stepping Motor Controllers.

NOTES
1. Standard SLS and SBLS motors have 4-phase, bifilar windings for 6, 12, or 24 VDC operation. Other voltages and 2-phase, bipolar windings are available.
2. Standard SLS and SBLS lead wire configuration is 6 leads. Click here for standard lead wire color code and switching sequence.
3. Capacitors are required for SL and SBL synchronous motors.
